还记得9月底得克萨斯州环境质量委员会突然发出的紧急提醒吗?当时,通知称该州布拉佐斯波特水务局的供水系统中可能发现“食脑虫”,随后官方提醒该州十余地区居民“不要用水”。虽然有关方面随后确保了该水务局供水系统不存在安全问题,但事情显然还没完……《新闻周刊》10月7日报道称,美国疾病控制和预防中心(CDC)表示,“食脑虫”正进一步“进军”美国,且自2010年以来观察到的统计数据显示,“食脑虫”在美有“显著的北移趋势”。这种转变可能是气候变化的结果,因为气温升高可能会促使该生物向原本不利于其生存的区域演进。
